I would love to have a feature where, similar to podcasts, listeners could look up their favorite TV shows (ie Parks and Recreation, The Office, Family Guy, BBC Sherlock), and listen to episodes. I like to listen to podcasts when I go to sleep and when I'm driving and sometimes I want to listen to my favorite shows, without running netflix (since I can't lock my phone). I would assume this would require some time of partnership with television producers to have partial ownership of the shows. Can you find a way to let users see a full title and we can tell each tracks quicker and not by playing it?   One way is to roll the title. It is how Volumio is doing.   Another way is to ask the tracks providers to input specific info on the title instead of everything like full name of artists or composers. There should be other place for them. For classical music, the composer is as critical as the player and lots of tracks on Spotify mix them up. It makes searching more difficult. ... View more

Hi, I think it could be a good idea to have a request button that gives each artist an idea of where his or her music is popular in the world. For instance I live in Montreal, if I want an artist to come and give a performance here I just click the request button and the artists sees that 1 or 50 or 5000 people requested a live performance there. You should be able to stream podcasts from the galaxy watch app when the watch is connected to verizon LTE/3G and not paired to the phone (standalone mode).  You cant even download podcasts to listen without your phone.  The whole point of having a wtach with LTE/3G service, is so that I can stream without having to carry my phone around the gym.  I almost exlusively listen to podcasts in the gym so this function is a must.  Ideallly, the galaxy watch app should be able to stream all content from "your library" in standalone mode over LTE/3G, but I will sewttle for podcasts to start. ... The Desktop app Podcasts page (both macOS and Windows) layout lists only podcasts series subscribed to. This is unlike the iOS app which lists podcast episodes by date episode was added (under the 'unplayed' section).   As a lot of the podcasts come out with episodes at a daily/weekly/monthly intervals and are consumed on an ad-hoc basis as they come out, a Podcasts page layout for Desktop apps which shows the episodes listed by data episode was added (reverse chronologically) is much needed. Idea: Some days, I just want to go to live music and have no idea who's playing. I'd love to have a dedicated page to browse upcoming concerts near me, with an idea of ticket cost and the number of people 'bookmarked' or 'going'.    This is a location-first approach to discovering music, vs artist-first.   Background: I live in an area with a LOT of live music, or I'm just looking for the nearest show. I don't always follow popular artists, but I love to discover new music at concerts (after I listen to the artist a little and confer with friends).   Nice-to-haves: Filters by genre, recommended artists, a calendar of upcoming shows (maybe subscribable ical), ability to scrub to specific dates to see scheduled shows around that time.   ... Yes! You just scored tickets to lolla, or bumbershoot, or SXSW, or.. you get the point. The list of all the artists performing over the course of the festival is like 1000 pages long, so how are you going to decide who to see?   Spotify, do your thing.   I'd love to be able to tell Spotify I'm going to a festival and have them pull together a playlist featuring every artist registered at the festival. I would pay a monthly fee to have the right to play music from Spotify in a show that would be broadcasted by terrestrial Community Radio (with a licence from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission). The Radio already pay royalties to artists. What's missing is the legal possibilly to play music from Spotify. That would be so great to have that possibility.
