A Loss In The Music Community

Recently Spotify stopped hosting one of the most legendary songs of all time: Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood by Santa Esmeralda from Kill Bill Vol.1. An instrumental version of the song is played during the battle of O-Ren Ishii and Beatrix Kiddo. In this scene you witness three masters of their art: O-Ren and Beatrix with their katanas and Santa Esmeralda with its guitar. This is one of the most insane songs with several parts that are played so clearly and beautifully, filling the listener with awe and surrounding them with a glowing aura of glory. If you haven’t gotten a chance to listen to the song it is on YouTube which I will post below additionally if you haven’t seen the battle that I am talking about I will also post that so that you might be able to see one of the most legendary scenes ever. Spotify, if you see this please help me and figure out a way for you to host this song again. If I need to reach out to someone to get this fixed I will just send me the info but I need to be able to listen to this again. Music community! This song does not have to be in our hearts only! Let us stand together so that we may hear the sweet sweet sound of Santa Esmeralda in our ears again!

To add more to that, the song actually got replaced (very likely hacked) by something else, here is the Spotify link for the extended version OP is talking about :

I've been looking for this post! What happened to the correct version of this song on Spoify? To me the correct version is the 1977 version, extended with the Esmeralda Suite as released on the LP in that year. I believe this exact version was used in Kill Bill Vol1 film. I now can only find false versions or stupid overly bassed remixes! Please Spotify restore this musical heritage.
