I've seen that news too, wondered the same - why so selective?

Wouldn't want to see the same stuff happening in movie services coming to music streaming services. One platform as X, another has XYZ but no X and third is dedicated to ABC and lacks the aforementioned completely. Fastest route back to piracy.

But I guess it's down to their management. Hopefully for the sake of Tool fans using Spotify (and other services not mentioned) they will release that content elsewhere too. I am not a listener though. 🙂
