There's some great music on these playlists. One artist I've been listening to lately is Chicago fingerstyle guitarist/songwriter Ryley Walker, who plays a sort of mixture between folk, rock, and jazz. Definitely recommended for anyone who likes artists like Tim Buckley or Nick Drake.

Hello !

Luke Janela - The faraway ( 2015 - Music is the road )

Luke Janela is a cellist/singer/guitarist/songwriter from California. He lays lush foundations of sound, utilizing his cello and guitar in tandem with his uniquely passionate vocals. The music is urgent and innovative, moving through genres and visuals like a big river.
From the woods of Northern California to the drizzly streets of Portland, OR, to the bright dry lights of Los Angeles, he has played hundreds of stages. Always self-produced, and not easily categorized, his albums have shown a fierce independence. ( http://lukejanela.net/ )

Hello !

George Thomas And The Owls ( 2008-2010. Red Deer Club )

George’s music wouldn’t be out of place if played in an Alice In Wonderland-kitted out haunted house. Barmy songwriting is hard to come across, which is why George’s unique style is well-liked across Manchester. Following his quiet spell some time after helping launch Red Deer Club in 2007, George has released three studio albums under RDC, each as ditty as the other. George’s voice is the raspiest in the business, reminiscing the likes of Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan. He sings softly spoken poetry over The Owls’ array of banjos, pianos and guitars, resulting in delicate and often robust individual charm, not unlike his oddly alluring stage presence, as he squirms behind the microphone stand. This is pretty yet melancholic folk music at its very best. - See more at: http://www.reddeerclub.co.uk/artists/george-thomas-and-the-owls/#sthash.ukNvdQRq.dpuf
