Downtime 27th June: App crashing on Android

Hey folks!

We're seeing reports that the Android app is crashing. This seems to affect Android 14 devices mostly. Some users are also seeing an error message upon opening the app.

same issue with my acc, I'm accessing my playlists trough my profile with another acc, luckily I had one free space in my family plan

It'll pop up for a second then shut off, I've uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times, I've restarted my phone 3 times and I've made sure it was updated

I apparently have a bug and my app crashes as soon as I log in. I have un-installed and reinstalled the app a few times to no avail.

Tried uninstall & reinstall, clear cache, force stop, and restarting device. Happens whether I'm on Wifi or cell data.

Yeah, the same thing is happening to me. I have cleared my cache and uninstalled/reinstalled. Still not working.

I've been struggling for hours with this. On my phone, when I open the Spotify app it kicks me out after two seconds. If I uninstall, sign in as a different account the app works fine. My original account works fine on my computer. It's JUST my phone. I tried everything else to fix it except clear my data, I don't want to lose my playlists. I don't want to lose this account especially since I have Spotify premium on this too. Please fix this issue, because I can't.

I have noticed the exact same issue. I have (not in that particular order) cleared the cache, force stopped the app, set the battery to unrestricted and given alle permissions. But as soon as I open the app it shows the normal home screen and immediately crashes and closes. I can only have the app open for longer after i reinstall it and before entering my login data. As soon as I press enter it crashes and closes again.

I have also updated my system to the newest update so I've run out of ideas.

Same thing has happened to me, been trying to figure it out all day. I am a part of a family plan and although my family members can access Spotify on my phone, my own account once logged in crashes. It only crashes on my phone, and works on other devices except other Android phones. I have done all of what google and more webs have asked and to no avail.
