Downtime December 15th: Login and playback issues

We're seeing reports about users having login and playback issues with Spotify across multiple platforms.

My Question or Issue

Despite checking my internet is working, restarting my device twice, uninstalling and reinstalling the app twice, I keep getting an error message saying "Something went wrong" when I tried to log into my account, which started soon after songs were refusing to load / play, or only playing certain songs in a playlist. This is also happening on a Lenovo laptop running Windows 11. Please could someone assist?

My mother with the same type of iphone with the updated IOS version as mine started doing the same thing along with my ipad. SO IT IS NOT my phone. it is an issue with your service 

 

this is highly inconvenient, and the tips provided did not solve these issues. I was using my data from my cellular plan until today when Spotify is not working at all and Spotify will not log in on any internet - wifi or my cellular data. 

 

i want a phone number to talk to someone today to cancel my subscription because this is getting ridiculous. i have been dealing with turning off my wifi to use spotify since the beginning of October. and now you don't want to work. FIX YOUR SPOTIFY!

Not able to playback, and now cannot access or log in from any device (PC, Mac, iPhone).

Connection via SONOS is down, getting a "something went wrong" error, tried reauthorizing the account but no page found.

1st, I was having an issue with the login then I reset the password and I then login just to find out that none of my playlists libraries are on my Spotify.app,  my playlist is no longer there.

i have this same problem exactly cant login so cant try logging out as you said as well

It’s been an hour I’m trying to login, my phone number isn’t working my emails aren’t working there is no way where the customers can resolve their issues, either chat or call has to be provided. This is ridiculous
