Non-car Bluetooth devices displaying in Car View mode

Spotify on my Galaxy S7 keeps switching to car mode when I connect my new headphones. They are "Allcaca" headphones, purchased from Amazon. Found here: amazon.com/gp/product/B07YFY88DP/

I have iPhone 11 Pro Mac and I’m using AirPods Pro.

I’m having the same issue with my Bluetooth earphones triggering car mode:

Please delete the feature where Spotify automatically pops up on my phone when my car connects. It’s so distracting when I trying to finish a text, check maps, check my shopping list... I will play music when I want to. When Spotify pops up in the middle of me doing something else it makes me want to light my phone on fire.

Spotify should be embarrassed this thread is so old. I suggest providing your costumer greater transparency into the specifics of what is being researched and what the difficulties are. 18 months of repeated "I promise we are working on this" doesn't inspire trust or confidence. Opacity is toxic to your client's trust.

I have a (tiny, class-d) desktop speaker amp that Spotify thinks is a car. It's called a "Nobsound". There are many models, I have the NS-10G. Not sure if others are affected.

I'd be so great to allow us, the users, to select which device is not for Car View instead of whitelisting !
