Non-car Bluetooth devices displaying in Car View mode

Having this issue with Bose NC 700 Headphones. Car view pops up when the headphones are connected to my iPhone, even though car view is disabled too.

I cannot turn OFF "allow car view to turn automatically on" without the app crashing. This started to  happen after I reinstalled the app (for another non-related reason), and the iPhone was connected to a JBL bluetooth. I don't know if that's a correlation. However, the option was able to be switched off before the re-install. Whether or not it has to do with the JBL connection or not I don't know.

I have this issue with my new Bose 700 headphones.

I've now disabled the "auto-switch" to car mode which solves, but not sure why you think these headphones are a car.

Hi there,

I'm using Spotify with my Bluedio T Monitor (T Monitor in the BT settings) and Spotify sees it as a car connection.

Device: Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S (Android 10)

Headset: Bluedio T Monitor

Workaround: Turn off car view (although I also use Spotify in my car over BT)

• A description of the issue you're experiencing: Whenever I connect my bluetooth headset and start Spotify to listen to music, Spotify asks whether I'm in a car and I have to quickly dismiss that notification on top of my Fairphone 3 Android screen to avoid getting thrown into the car view mode, which I don't know how to navigate at all. This happens every time despite my repeatedly rechecking the "Do not automatically switch to car mode" or whatever it was called in the settings. Please just let me disable the whole car view already! Any solution that gets rid of this jumpscare is fine for me though. Just please get one done.
