Offline mode turns off when re-opening the app on iOS

We've received reports from iOS users that Offline mode is automatically turning off when the app is closed and re-opened.

They came out with a update this morning and it still has the same issues… this is quite frustrating

Same issue for me as well. I was hoping the recent update had fixed it. Unfortunately, it didn't.

It's also very frustrating when you get a fantastic line up in the playlist on iOS, that you've managed to keep due to the app staying offline, only for it to refresh and switch the line up for the one on the desktop version.

Just installed the latest update and did not resolve the problem . Super annoying

A mi me pasa lo mismo eso es un bug(error) de la aplicacion en IOS y probé con 2 celulares, tienen que arreglarlo, pago premium para usar offline en el auto etc. Que el area correspondiente porfavor lo vean gracias.

Premium user UK, iPhone 13 mini, iOS Spotify app. 

After I set it the app to offline, after some time (not necessarily after closing program, and not always after closing) it reverts to online. Seems to have started with recent update but not certain. I have used offline regularly for years and has always stayed offline until change setting back manually. I have deleted app and reinstalled but problem persists.

I have downloaded many things and it still switches me to online without my consent.

so 12 days later...even after the latest "app update", the offline mode still turns off itself everytime we re-open the spotify app on our iphone.  😣😓  Can we get this post bumped to the top again?

I have exactly the same issue too. Even though I activated the offline mode, when I close the app and reopen it, it automatically goes back online. I have to do it every time and it’s annoying. It didn’t use to be like that. Please fix this spotify. And also the albums aren’t even in order. But it’s another subject.

Still not fixed with the newest update, 9.0.42.587. I was really hoping it would be... 😐
