[iOS] Spotify Widget missing on lock screen

We've received reports from iOS users about the Spotify widget being invisible on their lock screen. When they attempt to view it from the from the notifications bar while the phone is locked, it appears blank.

In case you're still experiencing the issue, try logging out of the app and back in again.
If that doesn't help, you can also follow these steps for a complete clean reinstall of the app.

I have this problem on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. iOS 18

It was the update that broke the widget.

Nope. Many of us were still on iOS 17 when it broke. My guess is the devs were trying to upgrade the app and accidentally break it.

Nah..... that doesn't work either..... 

On sunday the icon disappeared off my lock screen iPhone 15 pro.  I uninstalled the programme, reset the phone and then reinstall.... same problem.... not icon on lock screen.  I have been into  Spark, One NZ, JB Hi Fi....2 degrees were USELESS....no one wanted to know about it.... contacted Apple... they blamed Spotify.... contact Spotify.......only the noise of crickets...... I have updated the phone, full factory reset..... same outcome ........ any ideas?? apart from the above which doesn't work......

A few weeks ago the Spotify logo disappeared from my lockscreen, if it in the left there’s nothing there but if I click where its supposed to be it’ll send me to the Spotify app

Same it happened to me on ios 17, i updated to 18, deleted spotify reinstalled it, restarted my phone and yes still everytime the lock screen widget is still invisible and has no icon. Bro please fix it, it’s annoying
