CORS Error on OPTIONS and GET requests when attempting to access pitch song

returns an error page "Something went wrong", inspector accuses CORS errors on OPTIONS request and then on a subsequent GET request to https://generic.wg.spotify.com/nms-form/v1/artist//album/?org=spotify%3Aartist%3A
Trying on latest Firedox, Edge, and Chrome
clean install, no cookies, no tracker stoppers, no adblockers, no advanced privacy settings, browser is as out of the box as possible.

Internet is fine, VPS is off.
