Changing account from partner to Spotify while immigrating

My Question or Issue

We currently have a Premium account in the Netherlands through Dutch partner KPN. We will end the KPN subscription because we are immigrating from the Netherlands to New Zealand in a month or so. With that the Premium Spotify account will automatically end as well. I want to subscribe to a new Premium account (maybe Family) directly with Spotify and if possible transfer my current playlists. Can this be done?

Yes, this can be easily done. You can activate a subscription directly through Spotify at any time. 

Keep in mind that changing the subscription on your Spotify account doesn't affect your settings and music collection. Regardless if you subscribe for a regular Premium or a Premium Family, your playlists will remain the same as you saved them.

Important is to make sure you use a payment method that is available in New Zealand when subscribing for a new plan.
