I've found that when I click to play a daylist via Spotify in a browser (Edge) that the title of the daylist and the track listing does not actually match the queue of songs that's playing. For example, my current daylist is entitled "chill hip hop lyrical afternoon", featuring tracks by Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, the Creator, MF Doom, Frank Ocean, etc. What's playing is a daylist called "indie chill psychedelic pop thursday afternoon", featuring tracks by King Krule, Mac Demarco, Fleet Foxes, The Shins.
I've tried: refreshing the page; playing a different playlist then returning to the daylist; clicking on one of the tracks in the daylist, but nothing happens.
Hi, same issue as the OP, across desktop and mobile apps, starting within the last month or so. Testing now, it seems the web player displays the daylist name correctly in both places, while all of the apps display the correct name on the home page but a different name (unrelated to the songs in the playlist) as the title of the daylist page (on the page itself and in the side panel). I tried clearing the cache in the apps, after which the home page would display just "daylist" until eventually resuming the above behavior. EDIT: the playlist might actually be a mix of both displayed themes - I'll have to check more times.

Hey @garden_variety and @fullroomsound,
Thanks for the provided details.
If you haven’t accessed your daylist before the last time change, when you enter it, it will update - with the new playlist title and tracks. You’ll have access to this for three hours. After three hours, if you’re still on the same page, you can continue listening, but if you navigate away, you’ll come back to an updated playlist.
Could you let us know if the playlist title is different or if the tracklist doesn't match the queue as well?
We'll be on the lookout.
Ok, it behaved for a while, but is screwing up again. I don't use desktop (don't have one), but the difference between app and web player is really interesting.
I haven't played the daylist at all for several days. But tonight I opened it in the app. It showed this "gramophone" list of mostly opera and whatnot. When I tried to play a specific song from it, nothing happened. Most of the interface didn't work again. And when just hitting play, it started playing punk (last daylist played, from the weekend).
When I open the Web player, it claims the current daylist is "80s German rock". So, completely different to what the app thinks it should be. But the actual songs it's showing are all women-fronted punk bands. Mostly American. So not what the title says at all, but fitting with the playlist from the weekend. But at least in this case I can click on specific songs and have them play.
Just still something very broken with the whole thing. Just broken in different ways in the app and on the web player.
Just did the full, clean re-install per the instructions, and no change. The app is still showing the daylist as romantic gramophone opera, but with frozen interface, and hitting play only plays the punk from the weekend.
Even did a force-stop and cache clear on the HEOS app in case that's contributing (should be unnecessary since I anyway restarted in between, but wanted to be complete). No change.
Hey @anagogue,
Thanks for the additional details!
In order for us to look further into this, could you let us know if this inconsistency occurs only when you're using the external speakers? Does the daylist change regardless of the connected device or only when it is connected? If it's the latter, have you tested if it occurs with your current setup only or via other Connect devices as well?
Much appreciated! We'll be on the lookout for your reply 🙂
Yes, it's only when connected to the speaker set (not via Bluetooth, but whatever HEOS uses. Have to be on local Wi-Fi with them to connect, but then it can also keep playing when I leave). There's lots of other minor bugs with that setup generally as well, but not worth bringing up just now.
As an example, just brought up both the app and web player on my phone, while away from home, and the daylist works properly on both (see screenshots). Interestingly, still some minor variations in the name of the list, and the order of the songs, but it's the same songs, and they fit with the title, and I can click on individual songs and have them play.

My Question or Issue
The daylists are showing two different sets of songs on each device. This causes an issue when trying to skip a song from one device while listening on the other. The music stops playing and is unable to start playing the selected song unless the listening device is changed.
Hey @Manditito,
Thanks for reaching out.
Does this only happen with this specific playlist? Please check your other personalized playlists like Discover Weekly/Release Radar/Daily Mixes as well and see if adding tracks to your Liked Songs gets reflected in both instances of the app.
Furthermore, it would be helpful to try some troubleshooting steps like logging out and back in or clean reinstalling the app on both devices. If you've downloaded the desktop app from our website, try the Microsoft Store version and vice versa and let us know if the behavior changes.
Keep us posted.
