Just purchased a new Denon receiver and everything is working OK except Spotify connect, it doesn't show as a device on the connect page. I can stream everything via AirPlay OK, but connect doesn't show. They are both running on the same network, but I wonder if there are any settings I need to consider for spotify specifically. I have tried searching the forums but haven't come up with anything so far. If anyone could point me in the direction of some help it would be much appreciated!

Have you tried the desktop clients even the mobile ones (Android/Apple) ?
I did try computer and android clients, they can see each other but not the dvr.
But as mentioned before spotify and denon are aware of the problem, so there might be a fix out soon...

Imho It's a server problem related to their network. So my guess is that no firmware updates will be necessary

Yes, I do also think it is a serverproblem related to their network. Might be a DNS-problem.

I've had to resort to airplay but it sounds horrid! No presence - does anybody know what bitrate airplay uses?

On my device Denon AVR-X4100W it is not working...
Mmm strange... For information, I use the Google DNS 8.8.8.8. (Not sure if the DNS change anything). And yes, that is true, it works well ! wish that it will be fixed also for you in the next hours !
