Disabling spotify connect

My Question or Issue

 Is there a way to disable spotify connect? I like having separate playlists running on my laptop and phone but everytime I open spotify on my laptop, my phone (even if I don't have spotify open) will automatically connect to my laptop, stopping my playlist i the process.

Unfortunately, there is no way to disable Spotify Connect. You can vote for this idea though. One day Spotify may consider implementing it.
