Do WebPlayer streams count to monthly listens?

Hello,

Say I have an embedded Play button for a certain track on my website and my user plays it and listens through the entire sequence - does this count to the artists' monthly listeners?

I wonder how this works though, does it count even if the user isn't signed in when listening through the play button?

That's an really interesting question.

I'm not sure if this counts as a stream if they aren't logged in.

I got some more details.

If a user is not logged in when tapping the embedded play button, they only listen to a short preview. If so, it shouldn't count since it streams are counted for an artist when a song is streamed for over 30 seconds.
