HEOS skipping songs

Since few weeks, when playing through my DENON Heos Soundbar & Spotify Connect, few songs are skipped. Meaning that in Spotify it looks like the song is playing, but HEOS is silent throughout the whole song and sound is back again when the next song is playing.

I noticed this mainly when playing Shuffle and Daily mixes.

Heos App is v1.382.80

I have a very strong WiFi that never gives me any issue so I exclude that the issue is there. I also tried reboot everything (HEOS, modem, appar) several times but the problems always come back.

I never had this problems when listening via Headphones.

I am also having this problem- things were fine for a while but then spotify started skipping songs . I use radio and soundcloud with my denon home speakers and have no trouble- i'm not sure what to think. Also have strong wifi- i have 8 devices but it has issues even with the physical networked device.

I have confirmed that this problem doesn't happen with Tidal. It only occurs with Spotify, even the most up to date firmware and heos and spotify still has issues, it has issues with a single speaker too. 
 I think this may be something on spotifys side
