I have sent my music to playlist editors, but...

Hello,

My name is Belzifer and i'm an artist on Spotify.

I have sent a beautiful song to Spotify playlist editors on the 7th June (or around this date), however today I have seen that I've sent the wrong genre. I have decided to correct it today but now on Spotify it says that I have pitched the song to editors the 14th June (today) and not the 7th.

I know that the more early I send my song the better I have the chance to be discovered by Spotify. Is the fact that I sent my track earlier is still taken into consideration even if it says that I've sent it the 14th?

To answer your question, your original submission date is considered as well as the fact that every time you edit your submission, the edits will need to be processed. For this reason, you'll see an updated submissions date (updated to the day you edited the submission).
