Is it possible to run both spotify and audible on the same device at the same time?

Hi All,

Does anyone out there know if it's possible to run both Spotify and Audible at the same time on the same device - either iOS or Android? Just looking for possible solutions. On iOS, if I'm running one or the other, and then launch the other, the second one launched takes over. 

Are other apps that provide background audio, so two audio sources at once?

I don't think so, I think both operating systems will only let one media application play at any given time.
