JAM sound issue

My Question or Issue

when i start a jam session in my mobile and share with second user, he's unable to listen song bcoz volume is very low, even though after increasing full volume in mobile, getting same issue.

To confirm, are you listening remotely or in-person? As the host of a Jam, you're able to decide whether or not the guest(s) are able to control the volume 🙂 So it's worth double-checking if shared volume control is switched on for the Jam, to see if you notice any difference.

You can follow these steps to turn on shared volume control:

1. On your app, tap the current device you’re listening to.
2. Switch Let guests change volume on.

Just keep in mind that not all speakers support shared control, and that it's unavailable on Bluetooth devices & Apple AirPlay. Feel free to have a look through this article about Jam for more details.

Should the behavior persist after checking the controls and speaker compatibility, it's worth having a look through the settings of the device they joined the Jam with, and ensure there are no restrictions for the Spotify app. If they're using an iOS device, it's also good to check Can’t change the volume from your iOS device? listed on this page.
