Loudness Spotify/Sonos = Rocket Science

Loudness Spotify/Sonos = Rocket Science

Just recognized that Spotify allegedly is working on my issue for at least 4 years now. Still having the problem that I can‘t use the loudness control on my iPhone properly. They‘re only reacting time-delayed.
And still there‘s no solution for this? Seriously?
Having the latest Spotify, Sonos and iOS version. Restarted my iPhone. Nothing‘s working.
Spotify could you finally please present a satisfying solution for this???

This type of issue could be related to different factors within and outside the app. Since you mentioned that the issue is already being investigated, would you mind confirming all the troubleshooting you've done so far? This is to avoid repeating processes that you may have performed before.

 

Also, is this happening with other speakers or headphones? If so, would you mind confirming the type of connection you're using (Bluetooth - AUX - Wi-Fi)?

 

Lastly, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running.

I‘m using an iPhone 13 running with iOS 16.3.1

The Spotify version is 8.8.12.472

If I use Spotify on my iPhone with using the iPhone speakers everything working fine. As well when I use Spotify/iPhone/EarPods. 
Also Spotify/iPhone/BOSE headphones is working fine. 
Only Spotify/iPhone/SONOS is making trouble. 
I‘ve tried everything suggested in the posts before. Still having the problem with the volume control.

Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining this conversation. 

 

Since the app works fine when playing directly from the phone, earbuds and other speakers, the issue could be related to the Sonos volume normalization. You can check all the related info in this thread of the Sonos Community.

 

As a workaround, some users have mentioned that they can activate the "Normalize volume" feature of the app to avoid the loudness, but only using a Bluetooth connection with the Sonos. You can give it a try to see if it works for you.
