Lyrics not showing up

Looks like lyrics not showing up on accounts that are family owners. Everything works fine on any other account in same family. I created a new account and lyrics are showing up, but when i switch to my main account, where i'm family owner lyrics just disappear

After a few hours, the lyrics have gone....

So I gues this trick is unfortunatly not durable.

I have the same issue! I am an owner of family premium account where all family members have lyrics on their iphones but I don't. The desktop version works OK with lyrics.

I'm loving the recurring theme of "Lyrics have rolled out worldwide" as a canned response. There has been zero attempt from Spotify to remedy any of these lyric issues through this thread, nor any I've seen that relate to this issue. I've contacted CS directly and through Twitter, gone through every thread I can see on the community forum that is relevant and there is really no attempt to fix this. Spotify doesn't seem to want to acknowledge the issue exists, let alone fixing it in any capacity.

This unfortunately did not work for me. So it isn't a temporary fix for everyone. Thanks for the help though!!

Exactly the same problem here. I'm the owner of a family account. All the other people in my family have the lyrics option, but I only have it on my desktop. No lyrics option on mobile (Android).

No, there’s no solution yet. Spotify obviously doesn’t care about this issue.

Spotify was finally able to fix this for my mobile devices. I emailed them at their support@spotify email again and this time they asked for a list of info about my devices and app version. This morning they emailed and said it'd be resolved on their end and I could expect lyrics to work in 2-3 days. Within 3 hours, they appeared on my iPad and iPhone. I hope y'all have the same experience!

Seeing moderators replies makes me cringe. How clueless are they??

I have the same bug and I'm the family owner, everyone can see lyrics but me. Only iOS devices affected. Reinstalling Spotify does not help.

Please contact developers about this!

Contacting Spotify also solved the problem for me. I DM'd Spotify Support on Twitter and the next day the lyrics were there.

same, contacting support that made me try various things first, and finally for last they made a change and gave 3 days to lyrics to appear and they really did.

ok so i have exactly the same problem.

I am a family owner, everyone I know has the lyrics and I have them on my desktop app (mac) as well. But i dont have them on my phone (iOS 15). If I sign in with another premium account, I have them, if I sign in with a free account, I have them as well. But not if I sign in with my normal account.

I also tried to make a clear reinstall, didnt work. The same with the trick some users provided here before (creating new account, deleting them via desktop browser while still signed in on phone). It didnt work.

I mean, its obviously not an App-version related issue, since I reinstalled the app several times and the lyrics show up with another account.

But it isnt an account related issue as well, since I have lyrics on my desktop.

Please fix this spotify!

I have it fixed now 🙂

i just wrote spotifyCares on Twitter and they told me „We've taken the necessary steps on our end. You should be able to see Lyrics in 2-3 working days“. 
24 hrs later I have them 🙂

I have my lyrics now. Texted spotifycares on twitter and got it in less than 2 hours. I was initially told to wait 5-7 days.
However I'm not able to share lyrics yet

I finally have lyrics. I didn't write to the Spotify support or anything, so the bug has probably finally been fixed 👍
