Music pauses on desktop/web player when dismissing notification on phone.

Pretty much as simple as this. I have started experiencing the issue of listening to spotify anywhere causes my phone to see a notification that the music is playing. Conveniently, it allows me to pause it or skip to the next song via my phone. But whenever I dismiss this notification (I don't like notifications) it just causes the music to pause on whatever I was listening to.
