Option to disable video on podcasts to save data on all platforms

Give us the option on Android and iOS to disable video playback so users can save data usage. 3 hours of 1080p is a lot of data used. This is a huge problem for so many users, especially ones you want to use Spotify away from home. This could be a deal breaker for me. I mainly watch podcasts but only want to listen to audio and many channels are offering audio/video stream and Spotify doesn't have the option to turn video playback off. Even when I play Spotify in the background it still is pulling video data in its small window using an unnecessary amount of data.

100% agree. PLEASE make this update as soon as possible of this is another family that will have to go to another service. This is basically a backdoor to YouTube content which we spend a lot of time regulating already with our kids. Hundreds (thousands) of families are BEGGING for this update, please do the right thing here. It will not impact those who want to keep the videos as an option, but it will help a ton of families.

Exactly this, my kids now 'abuse' this functionality to watch all kind of videos as if spotify is youtube. I want, as a parent be able to at the account level turn of video all together

I want to turn off videos on Spotify so the kids dont get stuck watching video of 5 minute crafts **bleep** for hours. This is stupid Spotify.

This doesn't work on any Desktop App. Any ideas?
