Podcast Plays for about 1:05 then stops

My Question or Issue

I have been trying to listen to podcasts for the past few months now but whenever I try to play an episode it plays for exactly 1:05 and then goes silent. It does this on my phone and computer! It is getting really annoying!

Would you mind sharing the following:

• When this happens, do you have the Spotify app open both on your phone and computer?
• Does this happen with multiple podcasts or is it a specific one and its episodes that stop playing?
• Does Spotify just go silent, or you see that the episode(s) gets paused at 1:05?
• Have you done any troubleshooting steps so far and did you notice if any of them made a difference?
• If it just stops loading for example and you're using the same internet connection on your phone and computer, I recommend testing with a different one in case this is what causes the issue.

If it's a specific podcast or episode, it'd be great if you could share a link to it so we can also test on our end.

.Nope either only the app is open on my phone or my computer.

.the podcast was ADHD For Smart Ass Women and it started on Episode 29

.the episode goes silent and i can see its loading but it doesn't stop loading at all

.As for troubleshooting, ive restarted the app, tried a different episode, different internet connection, even tried without internet and still nothing.

whats really strange is that I am able to listen to my music playlists no problem. Its just the podcasts that have been doing this.

Thanks for your reply.

I've tested this on my end but the episode plays fine past the 1:05 mark. Since you mention this happen on different devices and different networks I suspect it's an account issue. Is it possible to have someone log in on your phone/computer to check if they experience the same issue? As an alternative, you can create a new account using a different email address.
