I primarily play Spotify on my Mac Mini which is connected to a receiver and speakers for most of my at home streaming. Spotify currently allows me to control this Spotify session with either my iphone app or laptop.
I'm considering bringing an Amazon Echo to the mix. Is it possible to use the Echo to control Spotify on my Mac Mini via Spotify's "Connect to a device" feature (or otherwise) instead of playing back on the Echo's own speaker?
How it is currently done; Not sure if this can be done with Echo or not:
