Problem w/Bose SoundTouch & Premium Family Account

I'm trying to add my Spotify account to the speaker & getting "requires premium account (6051)" error.  But I already have a premium (family) account?  Speaker & apps are all up to date on firmware.  I contacted Bose support & they said: "The Spotify Premium Family account provides a unique Premium account for each family member. Please log in using your own username and password instead of using the username of the Family account."

 

So I have to create another account for myself when I already have one?  Then what happens to my music library?  This does not make sense.  Has anyone else had this issue & how did you solve it?

Rest assured, this is something that the relevant team are aware of, and currently looking into.

 

Could you let us know what country you're based in? We'd like to pass this on to them whilst they continue to investigate.
