It seems that Spotify aren't going to sort it with an app for Samsung TVs using the new OS.
That means the only option I can see (feel free to correct) is to cast using Google Chromecase (excellent investment anyway) and cast the screen to the TV.
I would get a Roku or Amazon Fire and hook it up to your HDMI port - Spotify is available on those devices. Yeah it's too bad it's no longer support by the TV apps itself...
Still not showing up for me either...
I don't find spotify either... I have a samsung 6 seris, UE50KU6075
Very unlikely, judging by Samsung's response to a technical query about professional CCTV recorders at work (they initially refused to support us, but after being forced, dodged all points relating to their kit (£4k+) being proven to be in error), Spotify will probably have found samsung's attitude appalling, Samsung's Tizen operating system poorly supported and theerfore they will be ignoring Samsung's new TVs. Well done Samsung, get your attitude, act, and support together or deserve to die!
Sorry, just realised as a new poster, you probably haven't looked through the very long chain of messages, and may not understand why your TV doesn't have Spotify. The Samsung TV's released after April 2015 use Samsung's own operating system called Tizen. Previous models of which I own one used the popular Android, which supports Spotify plus tons more apps. I'm a developer, and to release an app for an operating system environment requires that the tools to enable the developer to code and test the app be very well developed and easy to comprehend. I've downloaded the Tizen tools but not had chance to try them due to other committments. Having coded for various microsoft, apple and android environments, I can honestly say that support, either from the company publishing the software or forums using it is paramount to being able to achieve results.
Just updating the topic that Tizen TV app is now available.
