Why can I not control shuffle while using Spotify on Chromecast?

If you're using a free account to stream music from your Chromebook or the Web player you'll only be able to listen to albums/playlists in shuffle mode, because the Chromecast acts as a separate device, which checks whether you have a free or Premium account (Like a mobile phone) and opens the link to the track you're trying to play rather than simply copying the playback from your Chromebook.
