Smart Shuffle keeps turning on after the first song of my playlist. I go turn it off and bam it's back on again. Not only is it irritating but it plays songs I don't even like. I like my playlists stop trying to add to them!!!!!!!!

Good news! Spotify has listened to user feedback and you can now disable Smart Shuffle from the mobile app settings, as mentioned in this now implemented idea. This setting will also be added to the desktop app in a future update.
Steps to disable Smart Shuffle in the mobile app:
1: Tap on your profile picture at the top left corner
2: Tap on Settings and privacy
3: Tap on Playback
4: Switch Include Smart Shuffle in play modes off
Note: This is for Premium users only and right now it's only available in the mobile app, but in a future update, there will be a setting to disable Smart Shuffle in the desktop app as well.

I literally cannot play my liked songs when using Android Auto because of Smart Shuffle. It turns on automatically and I CANNOT turn it off unless I use my phone, which obviously is a big NO while driving. I'm ready to ditch spotify, honestly. I agree, it has to go!
This is especially annoying as someone who just likes to queue their liked songs and start driving. I can't look at my phone or pull over just to change my music back. The recommendations are usually pretty far off from what I enjoy.
