Song tempo reduced

Hi, is anyone excited experiencing song playback has reduced the tempo/playback speed?

I’ve tried reinstalling the app but its still playing slightly but very annoyingly slow! Please help!

We'd like to gather some additional details about the behavior and it'd be great if you could let us know:

• Did you notice when this started (was it after an update for example)?
• Does this happen across devices or on a particular one?
• Is the music slower in the Web Player as well?
• Are you streaming music to an external device via Connect or Bluetooth (headphones, speaker etc.)?
• Any other TS steps you've given a try (another network, toggling any settings etc.).

You mentioned a reinstall, but to be on the safe side we recommend a clean reinstall which is more detailed and includes clearing the cache. You can follow these steps if you've not already done so. 

Additionally you can toggle on/off some of the playback settings within Spotify to check if any of them would make a difference - crossfade, gapless playback, automix, audio normalization etc.
