Songs randomly pause[Ps4]

Hello everyone. I have an unusual issue i haven't seen online yet and i can't seem to figure it out.

So. A few days ago i decided to set up a spare Linksys WRT54G router as a repeater in my home because i was having issues with dead zones in the house. As i have been noticing with Spotify on my ps4 is the songs randomly pause during my playlists and i have to fully reboot the app before it will play again. To my knowledge this has only started to happen since i set up the repeater. Also on a side note when i decide to go back to my Modem from my ISP the issues cease to happen fully! Please reply fast so i can go back to listening to spotify!
