My Question or Issue

 

Spotify Connect worked well till few weeks ago. Now it starts well but after few minutes the track stops and you have to reconnect to listen music again. Quite annoying. 

 

Checked wifi and other settings, nothing changed. Hence my assumption is that one of the recent  Spotify-updates is causing the issue. Can this be solved? Thanks!

Hi Eni,

Thanks for the reply. I've checked with multiple devices and it appears that it was with all Android devices and not with Apple devices. Also a hotspot did not help, neither the version of firmware of the Android devices. Luckily Spotify issued a new update of the app, this update resolved the bug of the previous update. Let us hope the issue will not happen again. Thanks for the support!

Just to confirm, does this happen with all devices you use the Connect feature with? It'd be helpful if you could try with other devices to help us understand if the issue is related to the Connect feature or to the specific device you use instead. 

 

Also, could you let us know if this started happening after a specific event such as an update? We'd recommend checking if the firmware of your devices is up to date. 

 

On another note, you mentioned that you already checked the WiFi connection, but could you try creating a hotspot on your phone and using that? This will help us determine if the issue is network related.
