My Question or Issue

Every song that I play on my tv on the Spotify app skips for a second maybe every 20 seconds. This is also the case when I play the songs using the Spotify app on my iPhone and extend it to the tv. I have no issues with Spotify on my iPhone.

The issue seems to be fixed since a month or two for me, through an auto update. Thanks.

HI! I had the same issue 2 days ago,  I tried to reset the app, and the app password, I even restarted my Samsung TV thinking that was the issue I tried to update the Spotify app on my Samsung TV but it is not even showing the option I cannot listen to any song because as soon as start loading, 0.09 seconds later it changes the song without even playing it. I hope someone from the spotify chat assistance can check on this and provide info 😞 

I have exactly the same issue since May. Frustrating. Tried EVERYTHING the internet suggests and still mouthing l nothing.

Hello I also experiencing this issue. There's no problem on my phones or PC but when I try to play songs on my Samsung smart tv it plays the first 5 seconds with no sound then skips and when I try to get out of it it would bring me back

 

I tried uninstalling the app then reinstall.

Clearing cache and data.

Delete other apps to make space.

Unplug the tv for awhile

Using other accounts

Device care

Removing running apps in the background.

 

And nothing has worked

This didn't happen before I don't know why it started pls help

 

 

Resetting my Internet connection fixed the problem for me. This can be done in the connection settings

There's currently this issue related to the app skipping on Samsung TVs, which is being investigated. Should you experience the same thing with your Samsung TV, feel free to have a look and subscribe to that thread. We'll keep you updated with any news there.
