Spotify queue updates don’t persist with Bose SoundTouch

My Question or Issue

When I’m using the Spotify app on my iPhone to control my Bose SoundTouch devices (I have several), any updates I make to the queue don’t “stick” — after a few seconds they automatically revert.

See screen recording below which shows me dragging a song up in the queue, and then 5-10 seconds later it suddenly goes back to where it was originally in the queue.

And before you ask, yes, I’ve made sure iOS, the Spotify app and my Bose systems all have the latest updates, plus I’ve also tried restarting all devices etc.
