I bought a Spotify gift card for friend and the pin is unclear on a character and they cant redeem the card

We've gone ahead and edited your post, since it contained info about your code. Keep in mind this is a public space, so, to maintain your data secure, we've deleted it.

 

As mentioned above, if you have issues while trying to redeem the code of a gift card, you can follow the steps mentioned by @Ivelina. You can also follow the suggestions mentioned in this article.

 

This is something that has to be looked at backstage if issues persist after trying the above. As this might require sharing private info, it’s best if you message us directly through here.

Hi there,

 

Welcome to the Community!

 

To start, make sure you’re entering the correct characters. For example a zero can look like a capital ‘O’, or a capital ‘I’ can look like a one. You can try different combinations, but keep in mind that after 4 attempts, you'll see an error message. If you do, you can try again after 24 hours.

 

However, if you're still unable to redeem the code even after trying the combinations or if it's damaged on the gift card, you can reach out to support so they can take a further look.
