Spotify stops playing after about 1/2 hour no matter which track I choose.. it plays if I restart 1

My Question or Issue.  Spotify stops playing after about 30-45 min no matter which track I choose.  If I restart spotify, it plays again but for the same time length.   Then I can't choose any other tracks and 3 dots keep moving on the middle of the screen.  We use it on an Ipadpro and play through Bose speakers. Help Linda

To start, could you check that your app and also devices' software is up-to-date? We had some issues with the iOS platform which should be fixed in app version 8.8.81.573.

If no updates appear for the Spotify app, you can try a clean reinstall, which will ensure that you're running the latest version. It's a good call to check the background app refresh settings on the affected iOS device. Here is how to do this.

Also, does the same thing happen if you're not connected to the speaker?
