Spotify web app - Google Chrome audio issues(static+crackle)

 Hello all,

Ive been using the web player for about 8 months now and in the past 3 days I've been having issues with audio on google chrome.

Every song that I play will have a very annoying and audible static crackle. I made sure that it was not my computer (Windows 7) because the web player audio works perfectly on mozilla firefox and youtube is working fine on Chrome.

I tried:

the option to always enable flash player, made sure that my chrome is up to date, cleared cache cookies etc. 

tested my account in incognito and finally tested on my mac(safari) which works fine.

Found this while still searching for a fix myself, but it appears to be an issue with the latest build of Chrome, but not everyone has the issue. If I find a fix, I'll try to post it here for you

Update - Solved!

Initially i thought it was an issue with some extensions. On a hunch i decided to re-install google chrome and it worked.

The Video that I attached shows what issues I was facing.

P.S. I suppose that there is an outstanding issue with firefox where users like me expereince the "Can't connect to spotify.. trying again now.." issue. Maybe if someone knows about a fix can comment for those who use firefox.
