Spotify web doesn't work

Music stopped to play on spotify web since some days ago. When I press the play button, the web app doesn't do nothing. The problem is my account, I did login on another computer and the problem still exists. I checked it in different browsers like Chrome, Mozilla and Edge.

Any suggestion to this problem?

That's strange! However, don't worry, I'm here to help! 🙂

There are 2 things you can try out to get things working:

1. Locate the Spotify Connect button on the left of the volume bar (looks like a computer), click on it. Select 'This web player' in the popup. Now clicking play on any song or album should be working.

Selecting the web player from other Spotify apps works too.

2. This method:

1. Point your cursor on the album cover where the play symbol appears.

2. Start clicking fast the play cover button, press F5 for refresh while still clicking fast.

3. Keep clicking until the page has fully reloaded.

Then the player is available again for you to use. If it doen't work at the first time, try a second time.

Nice!!!  I haven't been able to get the Spotify web player to work at all the last several weeks and my work computer won't let me install the app.  I've tried every suggestion I could find and nothing worked until I found your second method.  Thank you!  Thank you!  (I have no idea why that worked...)
