My Question or Issue
I have recorded many albums in my library. It is a very long lost. It is very difficult to find a particular album, other than on alfabeth. Is it possible to create subdivisions in folders, such as France, Jazz, Violin, etc.
Thanks.
Jan
Hey @Janmb1
Actually, you can make subfolders in your folders! 🙂
In the desktop client you can simply right-click on the folder and select 'Create Folder', and you can create entire folder systems:
As this article says, you'll need Spotify on your computer to create them, but you will see them on mobile too.
Note: you can't create folders in your Saved Music (Albums, Artists or Songs).
Hope this helps, have a nice day 🙂
Thanks Sebastian,
In playlists I succeed to make subfolders. But in the map Albums I could not make a subfolder by right-click. Can you help me further?
thanks
Jan
Unfortunately it's not possible to make folders in Albums or any other categories under Your Library. Sorry about that!
If you wish this to be possible, I suggest making a new post in the Ideas board (under More things you can do), or give votes to existing ones 🙂
Hope this helps, have a nice day!
