Tesla player - only one song from queue gets played

Tesla player - only one song from queue gets played

On my Tesla Model 3, I have a strange issue with queuing songs.  When I'm playing songs in shuffle mode, if I queue up several songs (either from the car or from my phone), only the first song will play.

 

As in:

I queue up 3 songs while another song is playing.

That song finishes, and the first song from my newly-queued songs plays.

When THAT song finishes, none of the other newly-queued songs play, instead it skips straight to what was next in the queue before I added the new songs.

 

Software version is v12 (2025.20.6.1)

Hey @lukezor, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

I was taking some time to replicate and investigate this on my end as I also have a Tesla with Spotify integrated. I can confirm that I couldn’t replicate the issue however I am on software version 2025.26. Whenever that update gets pushed on your Tesla, I’d recommend updating it and see if that makes any difference.

 

If you still face problems after updating, please send me a screen recording of what you’re seeing and I will take a closer look. Make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the Community.

I am also having this issue, which was persistent with 2025.14, and now after updating to 2025.26 I still have this same issue

Thanks Billy-J, the issue still seems to be happening on 2025.26.3.1.  I'll aim to record a vid of it happening shortly.

I also am having this same issue and my tesla

is updated to the latest 2025.26.7

The problem doesn't seem to be happening anymore.  I haven't updated my Tesla software since I posted above about the issue still happening.  The only thing I've done recently that was out of the ordinary was to play through almost all of a different playlist (Release Radar in my case) with shuffle mode off - I don't know whether this was what fixed it, or just a coincidence 🤷‍
