Use Spotify for Chromecast and HEOS at the same time?

Hi All

Hope you are doing well! 

I have a question: I have an amplifier with google chromecast audio, that I control using the spotify app. I want to add HEOS speakers in another room. Can I group the chromecast and HEOS systems so that I can multi-room stream (i.e. play the same on the two systems in sync)? Or do I need to either have HEOS everywhere or chromecast everywhere?

I plan to use the spotify app and not the HEOS or google app to control it

Heos went back on their word about adding Chromecast Audio compatibility - so the two remain totally seperate ecosystems.

Hey, did you ever get an answer to this? Can Spotify multicast to both chromecast and heos simultaneously?
