Web player always returns HTTP 401 Unauthorized

Web player always returns HTTP 401 Unauthorized

For reasons I don't get into, I need to use the web player. Unfortunately, I'm unable to listen to any music because every web API call returns

{
  "error": {
    "status": 401,
    "message": "No token provided"
  }
}

I'm seeing this in the chrome developer console.

Using Windows 7 and Chrome 59.0.3071.61.

Can someone help out? I'm unable to find any information regarding this error when using the web player.

Thank you.

Since May 29th 2017, EVERY request needs to be authorized. 😞

They announced it in their web...

Sorry, but I should have specified that I'm not using the web API. I'm using the web player.

Could someone kindly help with this?

I'm unable to evaluate the service.

Having the same problem from with the web player from work. Could it be a proxy issue? On windows 7 with my proxy variables correctly coded, just doesn't work.

I'm getting the exact same issue. Using Firefox at home, OR Chrome at work, same exact issue. I have no idea what's causing it because the only thing that's the same is they both use uBlock Origin. HOWEVER, even when turning it off the issue persists, so it can't be that!
