Web player continuously skipping songs

For the last six months or so, the spotify in-browser web player has been skipping songs. It will play the first song of a playlist, then continuously skip the remainder of the songs on the playlist until the end of the playlist. This also happens with albums or radio.

I'm having the problem in both Chrome and IE. I have cleared the caches of each and the problem persists.

I have the same exact problem.

Using IE at work. Webplayer works through the firewall, but only plays about 4 seconds of a song, then skips to the next song. Not really useable.
