Hello!

If you want to add local music to Spotify, just head to the Local Files tab! If some music does not appear, it's either in the wrong file type or another folder.

To add one or several folders as sources of music, just go to Settings, scroll down until you see Local Files and click on ADD A SOURCE.

If the music is in the right folder but doesn't appear/play, maybe it's a wrong file type. Spotify supports .mp3, .mp4, and .m4p files. It doesn’t support .mp4 files that contain video.

If QuickTime is installed on your computer then .m4a files are also supported. We’ll do our best to match any unsupported local files with songs from the Spotify catalog.

Hope it was useful, have a nice day!
