Xbox One - Spotify Control (volume, skip...) Not Showing Up In Sidebar

Hi there,

I've recently been using the new Spotify app on my Xbox One while playing games and it's been fine until now. Now all of the sudden I've been playing music through spotify but the volume control/app control in the xbox home sidebar (when you press the home button) just isn't showing up anymore so I can't even turn the volume down to hear the game I'm playing! Help fixing this would be much appreciated.

Worked out that doing a hard restart of the console (hold the power button for 10 seconds) fixed this issue!

Hope this helps someone else that has the same problem.
