Why do we have to hide our activity each day? It should just be an on/of button. Just a thought. Have a good one.

Thanks for coming to the Community and sharing your thoughts.

Your followers can see what you're listening to on the Friend Activity feed if you've chosen to share that info.
There is a toggle in Settings >Social > Share my listening activity on Spotify that allows you to stop your activity from being shown.
Private session is helpful If you don’t want others to know what you’re listening to at specific times, but you'd like to have the toggle on.
Note that listening in Private mode may not influence the Made for You playlists (for example Daily Mixes, Discover Daily, etc. ) and you may not get too many new recommendations.
