This user is a scammer profile for artists. Please do not engage with this user. Lofi - Night Chill was a playlist he hosted, with his own website https://lofimoon.us/.

I reached to him as he featured one of my songs on his playlist and noticed a surge in plays on my artist dashboard. This was great for me, and as such I fell into his trap. I emailed him asking to have my song on his playlist again - he asked for $50 via paypal as a form of donation.

The payment was sent through. He stopped emailing. The playlist "Lofi - Night Chill", with 65k followers - disappeared. Obviously I did not get emailed back.

Obviously this is my wrongdoing for falling into this trap - but please , other artists - don't fall for future playlists with 'fake followers' on this again.

Spotify please investigate.

Sorry that happened to you, and thanks for sharing this. I was just added to the same playlist and did a cursory google search before reaching out to the guy, this was the only post I could find mentioning the scam.
