Address not matching

I'm the main account holder of my family plan. I have 4 members including myself all who accepted the invitation with no issue but for whatever reason my mother can't. The address is the EXACT same as mine but no matter what we select it says they can't find it. I don't want to reset it with a different version since then everyone else will have to do the same and there's a chance it won't work like this time. I'm getting incredibly frustrated especially since Spotify "Support" isn't actually Support but articles that both don't answer the question I have and won't let me speak to an ACTUAL person.

Your addresses didn’t match

Ask the person who invited you to double-check the address they entered. You’ll need to use that exact address to join Family. 

 

 

That's what we get EVERY time and I input the EXACT same address. I've even tried to change it to match the one they keep pulling up and it's not letting me. Does Spotify not have a customer support team because this is ridiculous. Like not even an email? 

I have upgradeded my accoubt to duo. Invited my girlfriend . Even we entered the address like 10 times still says you dont live in same locstion.

Hi,

I'm getting the same issue...

 

 

"Your address did not match. Ask the person who invited you to double-check the address they entered.
You'll need that exact address to join family"

 

 


This is for my son and nothing has changed in a few years but all of a sudden he was told he needed to confirm the address, which he's done but is not recognised. I'm so confused!

 

Any help?

Thanks for the info!

 

Can you double-check the address on your Family page and make sure your son is entering the exact same one when trying to accept the invite? If that doesn't do the trick, try updating your address and sending him a new invite and he should be able to join. He can also try opening the link in an incognito/private window in a browser.

Same error here. I tried updating the address, changing to another address, but nothing seem to work. In my opinion, the error comes from spotify servers which seem unable to reconcile the address typed on the sender and receiver ends of the duo subscription.
