Audio Book Family Sharing Family Sharing Audiobooks

Solved!

Audio Book Family Sharing Family Sharing Audiobooks

Our family has a Premium Family account. I am wanting to purchase audio books which my children have to read for school this year and want to know that if I purchase the books under the Plan Managers Account can we share the books with the kids accounts or do they have to be purchased through their own account?

Guess I'll be leaving spotify after 3 years on a family plan. This sucks. Yall need to do better ASAP!!!

What an awful plan. The family premium subscription is for families to share - this very much defeats the purpose.  Seems like Audible is the way to go.

Adding an additional voice to the disgruntlement above. Spotifys competition offer this sharing ability. Come on Spotify, give me a reason to stay on your platform.

I am as frustrated with this as everyone else is.

This is **bleep**ed up.

Spotify needs to address and make available using audiobooks for ALL members of a family plan or at very least provide a way for that option to be purchased. It is very limiting to only allow plan manager to take advantage of this great Spotify feature.

Agreed! Audiobooks should be available for anyone in the family plan, the same way music streaming is. Maybe it can be an added cost per month for each member who would like access to audiobooks – something so that everyone has access. Otherwise, the better option is Audible.

Time to get an Audible subscription again then.... thought Spotify had cracked it

J'ai accès librement aux livres audio mais ma fille, qui est membre de mon abonnement premium famille doit acheter les mêmes livres, est-ce normal ?

Seriously guys, why not give us the option to share those hours with our family members? What’s the point ??

This is not a solution. This is just telling users, "Sorry, S.O.L." Is this just an oversight, or is this an intentional limitation to force users to pay for individual premium subscriptions? I am the plan manager, but I don't need 15 hours of audiobooks per month. Why can't I decide which plan member has this access?

im looking and it says i should get 15 hrs of free audio books per month with my monthy family primium subscription . can't figure it out from the online steps provided

This is BS I pay for the family plan basically for my son.  my husband prefers SoundCloud and I use Apple Music. My son needed to download a audiobook for school and he couldn’t so I accused the poor kid of lying because I could see it  on my end for free and insisted that we paid a premium family plan. This is ridiculous. the account manager is the only one who can access the book for free.  whoever heard of such nonsense. We will be canceling this is  insulting almost.

Seriously?  You just increased our monthly subscription fees?  What's the point of a family plan?  We can share each other's playlists, but not a book purchased??  That is a complete money grab.  I want my money back then!  How do I return a purchase?  I'd rather get it through another source.

The whole thing is a bit of a con to be honest, I took an interest in the service again after being recommended some audio books that I might actually listen too, but I needed to get "access with listening hours", from the account holder (My partner), she has a bunch of hours she's not using, but in order to give me access she needs to buy more, why bother at that point? just go to audible lol.

I think the whole thing was intended as a con to add an unwanted feature to an already bloated service so that they can charge you more for it, and then under deliver on it.

Similar to how Amazon prime video used to be great because it came with Amazon prime until they stuck ads in it, and now you can't use it without spending more money and you can't cancel it either, so you just sit there and grown at it and hate it.

Can it be shared via listening party?
